We’re more than just a building – we’re a community with something for everyone

General Terms & Conditions of Use of the Community Centre

(For all visitors, attendees, volunteers and building users)

1. Purpose of this Policy

This policy ensures the safe use of indoor bouncy castles and inflatables within the Centre. It protects children, hirers, staff, volunteers, and the charity by setting clear, practical safety requirements and capacity limits.

Indoor inflatables significantly reduce usable floor space and affect evacuation routes. For this reason, the Centre applies stricter capacity limits than the standard room capacities.

2. Respectful Behaviour

All users must:

  • treat staff, volunteers, trustees and other visitors with respect
  • behave in a way that does not cause nuisance, disruption or distress
  • follow any reasonable instructions given by Centre staff or volunteers

Abusive, aggressive or discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated.

3. Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.

All users must:

  • Follow staff instructions relating to safeguarding
  • Ensure children are supervised at all times
  • Report any concerns immediately to a member of staff

Our Safeguarding Policy is available on our website.
